Hongsin Kim is a Teaching Fellow with the Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE). Hongsin supports the activities of the BCRRE, primarily relating to its MSc programmes in Railway Safety & Control Systems and Railway Systems Engineering & Integration.Holly Foss is an early-career academic working as Lecturer in Railway Systems Education at The University of Birmingham. She works on the design, management, and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate education in railway systems within the thriving Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education. Her work focuses on teaching and learning methods for railway systems within the contexts of internationalisation, equality, diversity, and inclusivity, and industry-readiness for the 21st century. Additionally, she supervises PhD, MSc, MEng, and BEng research projects on railway education and access to engineering as well as leading the development of postgraduate researcher capabilities in teaching and learning.Felix Schmid is professor of Railway Systems Integration within BCRRE and undertakes research into railway capacity.
